Cheri Lambert, MS, OTR
Cheri is the chair of the OTA program. With much administrative support, she began development of the OTA program in August of 1996. She graduated from LSUMC’s OT program in Shreveport, LA in 1988. Her home town is Keatchie, LA and she is a graduate of Logansport High School. She holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Practice Management from Texas Tech University.


Terrie King, MA, OTR
Fieldwork Coordinator
Terrie is a graduate of Austin Community College’s OTA program as well as Texas Women’s University’s OT program. Terrie completed her Master’s degree in Counseling Education from Alamosa State University in Alamosa, CO. Terrie has extensive experience in a variety of settings including private pediatric clinics, school systems, early childhood intervention; community based mental health settings, chemical dependence recovery, inpatient rehab, and home health.

Joy Moreland

Joy Moreland, COTA
Adjunct  Instructor

Joy is a 2008 graduate of the Panola College OTA program.  She is an OTA instructor and has extensive experience providing pediatric OT services in school systems, home health and community based programs. Joy has owned and managed a private practice pediatric therapy service.


John Jaskiewicz, OTD
Adjunct Instructor
John is an adjunct instructor in the OTA program. He graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska with a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in 2004.  John has provided OT services with adults in settings ranging from Long Term Acute Care Hospital, to acute care, to inpatient rehab, to home health since 2005.  In his current setting, he is the Clinical Director of Rehab Therapy managing services for OT, PT, and ST ranging from NICU to acute care to in-patient rehab. 
Julie Green

Julie Green, MOT

Adjunct Instructor

Julie is an adjunct instructor in the OTA program.  She graduated from Panola College with an Associates of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy and an Associates of Science in 2001-2002.  While working as a COTA she completed her Bachelor's of Science in Clinical Services Management from Texas Tech University in 2005.  In 2012 she became an Occupational Therapist when she graduated from Texas Woman's University with her Master's in Occupational Therapy.  Her primary practice settings have been home health and skilled nursing facilities geriatric care services.


Mickie Cash
Department Secretary

Mickie is the administrative assistant of the OTA department.  If you cannot find an occupational therapy instructor to assist you, Mickie can help.  Mickie is a vital OTA department team member.
