Mission of the M.P. Baker Library
The purpose of the M. P. Baker Library of Panola College is to be an academic Learning Resource Center for the students and faculty of the College. The LRC staff strives to offer resources and services, when and where they are needed, to enhance the development of the whole student, and to offer opportunities for students to become lifelong learners.

Information is provided through a variety of formats. You will find print and electronic books, newspapers, magazines, journals, archival items, reserve items, reference works, movies, computers, printers, Wi-Fi, and copiers.
Your library is proud to be a member of TexShare, a program offered and supported by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. This program allows us to offer interlibrary loan and library card service to other Texas libraries. We also provide instruction and assistance with using the library’s resources and gallery exhibits through the year.
The library provides both study spaces and social spaces. There are 6 study rooms, 2 conference rooms, 1 collaboration room, an open computer lab, a computer classroom, leisurely reading areas, study pods, and study tables.

Friday, April 10 - Sunday, April 12, 2020: Campus closed for Good Friday Holiday
Spring Semester 2020 Library Hours (January 12th - May 7th)
Sunday: 4:00pm - 9:00pm
Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 9:00pm
Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
Study rooms and computers close 15 minutes prior to the rest of the library.
