The Lincoln and Mary Nell King Endowed Scholarship was established in 2001 by Lincoln and Mary Nell King because of their love of education and their desire to help others succeed. Mrs. King was an instructor at Panola College until her retirement, and Mr. King taught for Gary I.S.D. until his retirement. The scholarship is awarded in the spring of each year.
