The John Edwin Kozlowski Memorial Scholarship was established in 1987 by Elizabeth K. Kozlowski in memory of her husband, John E. Kozlowski, who was fatally injured in an automobile accident while returning home from a Panola College class in Marshall. This scholarship is awarded annually to a Carthage, Gary, Beckville, or Tenaha high school graduate who has a “B” average and a demonstrated financial need.
