The Dr. and Mrs. Z.L. Daniel Memorial Scholarship was established in 1994 in memory of Dr. and Mrs. Z. L. Daniel, who lived in Gary, where Dr. Daniel practiced medicine. The scholarship was established by their son, Dubose B. Daniel, M. D., and his family. This scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving Gary or Panola County student or students. Recipients must be sophomores at the College.
