Panola College achieves record enrollment for Spring 2025 semester

Panola College has announced a historic milestone for the Spring 2025 semester, with a total of 2,573 students enrolled in courses. This marks the highest spring enrollment in the College’s 78-year history, surpassing the previous record of 2,464 students set in 2017.
“We are thrilled to reach this milestone in our spring enrollment, which reflects the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, and students,” said Dr. Jessica Pace, Panola College president. “As we continue to grow, we hope to continue increasing enrollment while providing an affordable education that equips our students with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed in their careers and beyond.”
Over the past year, the College has made significant strides in enhancing its offerings to better serve students and the community. Notable developments include the opening of the state-of-the-art Matthews Foundation Energy Building, which provides cutting-edge facilities for energy-related programs. The College has also expanded its dual credit enrollment by adding new offerings at 19 Independent School Districts, allowing more high school students to earn college credits, degrees, and certifications. Additionally, the introduction of several new occupational skills awards has equipped students with the practical skills needed for immediate employment, further enhancing their marketability in today’s competitive job market.
