Panola College theatre will present Arsenic and Old Lace by Joseph K as its annual dinner theatre production on Friday and Saturday, October 11 and 12, and as a dessert matinee on Sunday, October 13.

Arsenic and Old Lace is a classic dark comedy that explores the idea that the only thing deadlier than poison is family. When drama critic Mortimer Brewster discovers a corpse in his elderly aunts' window seat, he rushes to warn them, only to find out they murdered the man themselves. Amidst his aunts' deadly antics, a brother who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt, and another brother using plastic surgery to hide from the police, Mortimer faces chaos that could derail his wedding plans.

“We are thrilled about this show and invite everyone to enjoy an evening of dinner, laughs, and theatre,” said Kim Funderburk, director of theatre at Panola College. “We can't wait to share this experience with our audiences.”

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the Friday and Saturday performances, and at 1:30 p.m. for the Sunday performance. All performances will take place in the Elizabeth R. Hedges Studio Theatre.

Performances are by reservation only and space is limited. To reserve tickets, visit panola.booktix.com. Tickets are on sale now through October 7.
