Choir students selected for Texas Two-Year College All-State Choir

Six students from the Panola College Choral Department have been selected to perform in the prestigious Texas Two-Year College All-State Choir following auditions held for Region 3 on Friday, November 15. These talented students were chosen from among the best choral performers across the region.

The selected students are:

• Gabriella Laney, Soprano One
• Sara Kinney, Soprano Two
• Shamiya Black, Alto One
• Riley Hopper, Tenor One
• Connor Cowan, Baritone
• William Boyd, Bass Two

The Panola College choir members will have the honor of performing at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) annual convention in San Antonio in February 2025. The performance will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the Stars at Night Ballroom of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
