Panola College to host Region XIV Tournament Nov. 4 to 6

Panola College will host the Region XIV Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament Nov. 4, 5, and 6, with the top two teams advancing to the NJCAA National Tournament.

The Fillies will enter the tournament as the No. 3 seed and play their first game on Nov. 4 at 3 p.m.

The seeding for the tournament is: 1. Trinity Valley; 2. Navarro; 3. Panola; 4. Blinn; 5. Tyler; 6. Wharton; 7. Lee; and 8. Coastal Bend.

The schedule is as follows:

Friday, Nov. 4 

Game 1 - Trinity Valley #1 seed vs Coastal Bend #8 seed at 9 a.m. 

Game 2 - Blinn #4 seed vs Tyler #5 seed at 11 a.m. 

Game 3 - Navarro #2 seed vs Lee #7 seed at 1 p.m. 

Game 4 - Panola #3 seed vs Wharton #6 seed at 3 p.m. 

Game 5 - Winner Game 1 vs Winner Game 2

Game 6 - Winner Game 3 vs Winner Game 4

Saturday, Nov. 5 

Game 7 - Loser Game 1 vs Loser Game 2 at 9 a.m. 

Game 8 - Loser Game 3 vs Loser Game 4 at 11 a.m. 

Game 9 - Loser Game 6 vs Winner Game 7 at 1 p.m. 

Game 10 - Winner Game 8 vs Loser Game 5 at 3 p.m. 

Game 11 - Winner Game 5 vs Winner Game 6 at 5 p.m. (The Championship Game winner will advance to the National Tournament as the Region XIV Champion and Mid-South District A Champion)

Sunday, Nov. 6 

Game 12 - Winner Game 9 vs Winner Game 10 at 11 a.m. 

Game 13 - Loser Game 11 vs Winner Game 12 at 1 p.m. (The winner will advance to the National Tournament as the Region XIV Reserve Champion and Mid-South District B Champion)

The tournament will be livestreamed Nov. 4 on TSRN and Nov. 5 and 6 on YouTube. Admission to the tournament is $10 for adults and $5 for students (18 and under) for daily tickets, and $20 for a tournament pass.
