Gas Compressor Association makes $17,000 donation to School of Energy
The Gas Compressor Association (GCA) donated $17,000 to Panola College’s School of Energy on Wednesday, Nov. 30. The donation was presented by Joni Rice, Vice President of Human Resources, and Chad Roberts, Chief Executive, both of Estis Compression, and Matt Langford, General Manager, of McClung Energy Services.
“The Gas Compression Association has been a great partner for Panola College and a supporter of education programs in this mechanical field,” said Daniel Hall, Chair of the School of Energy at Panola College. “We are thankful for GCA’s continued support as well as the representatives from McClung and Estis, and look forward to using these funds to grow and improve the technical training offered at the College.”
Hall was joined by Dr. Gregory Powell, President of Panola College, and Dr. Billy Adams, Vice President of Instruction, to accept the donation, which took place inside the School of Energy lab on the Panola College campus in Carthage.
“The energy program at Panola College would not be possible without industry support from organizations like GCA,” added Hall.
