Become a Massage
All classes will be held in the evening and on alternate Saturdays. The 12 month program includes 500 hours of instruction required by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHA). The graduate must take and pass the state administered exam to receive a license to practice as a massage therapist.
Space is limited and advanced registration is required. Registration, tuition and fees may be paid using cash, credit card, check or money order. The registration is $100, tuition is $3,899 and fees are $200, making the total cost $4,199. The registration fee is non-refundable after three business days. Students paying the entire cost of the course prior to the first day will receive a $300 discount. Contact the Panola College Continuing Education Department for financing options.
Supplies: Panola College will supply classroom and internship teaching resources (tables, classroom, etc.), massage lotion (no oil is permitted), and antibacterial cleansers. Handouts and supplemental resources will be posted in Panola College's online Canvas format.
The student must supply 5 sets of twin size sheets (tan, buff or natural color), 2 solid fleece throws, 5 hand towels, 5 face cradle covers, and black-colored short-sleeved scrub sets. All items and more are available through the Panola College Store.
