Emergency Medical Services
The Emergency Medical Services Training Program prepares students to work in a variety of health care facilities as Emergency Medical
Technicians. Upon successful completion of the course and NREMTtesting, graduates work at numerous fire departments, private EMS services, and hospitals.
Emergency Medical technician is an exciting field where each day offers new challenges.
The program teaches you many life saving skills, required for the fast-advancing world
of EMS (Emergency Medical Services).
The program offices and classrooms are located in the Health Science Building, office - room 121, classroom - room 132, Panola College, 820 W. Panola St., Carthage, Texas.
Graduates of the program will be eligible to apply to NREMT . Upon successful completion of NREMT testing, students may apply to Texas Department of State Health Services for state certification.
