    Panola’s Rodeo team finishes strongThe Panola College rodeo team was at their last rodeo of the regular season in Wharton, TX. on Apr. 22-23.The men’s team earned a total of 299.5 points for a 4th place finish, while the women’s team earned a total of 190 points, also earning a 4th place finish. This was a good finish for Panola after a tough year of 10 battles.

    Panola sweeps Paris over the weekendPanola’s pitching and offense were outstanding on the weekend scoring 29 runs in three games, while Panola’s pitching allowed only 5 runs in the series. The Ponies are 38-13 on the season and 18-9 in conference play. Panola will wrap up conference this weekend vs Navarro.     Student photography, art on displayStudent artwork and photographs are on exhibit in the Allison Gallery of the M.P. Baker Library through the end of the semester. Artwork includes drawings, paintings in acrylics and oils, as well as ceramic works. Photographs from both first and second year students are on display, and photo essays, created by second year students are displayed in multi-media form on a laptop.
